    The electrical power per capita consumption in the United States is 1460 watts, an approximation of the electricity every American uses 24/7.   The basal metabolic rate of an American averages 65 watts. This is a visual comparison.132 amber lamps consumes 1460 watts and the arteries and red lamps use 65 watts.
