ANALEMMA:

The Analemma is the perceptual phenomenon of the sun tracing an infinity sign in the sky when captured over time at the same time of day. I am recording this over a one year period. It will consist of two superimposed time frames:  150 frames in "real" time each day and 365 sequences of that to depict the time of one year. These superimposed or speeded up will make the Analemma perceivable to the viewer. The final structure/form will be informed by the possibilities in the data.   Installation also includes a suite of still photographs.  ( see rooftop apparatus on website )
